Reaper X is an upgraded version of the standard Carolina Reaper (which averages ~1,200,000 SHU) created in 2013. Since 2013, Magic Plant Farms agronomists worked to improve the standard Carolina Reaper to increase the heat level and stabilize the landrace to perfection. As of 2022, we can guarantee to offer the hottest Carolina reaper that ever existed (Reaper X averages ~1,600,000 SHU). These pods should be used sparingly since they add lots of heat.  The product is 100% natural and does not contain chemical preservatives. This product is red with aroma and flavor characteristic of Carolina Reaper X pepper.

The standard CAROLINA REAPER was originally named the “HP22B”.   In 2013, GUINNESS dubbed it the HOTTEST CHILI in the WORLD with peak levels of over 2.2 MILLION SCOVILLE HEAT UNITS (SHU).    But really the name “The CAROLINA REAPER “says all you need to know.  They are CRAZY HOT with cherry undertones and a hint of citrus flavor.   If you love hot spicy food, then this pepper is a great choice to make that happen.   Use this pepper sparingly, to add flavor and heat to all your foods.

Dried Reaper X pods are a great way to experience the world's hottest pepper.  Use these sweat producing, mouthwatering, tear inducing, super-hot peppers to make your own flakes, hot sauce, chile, salsa, or as a spice to add extreme heat to all your favorite recipes.

RE-HYDRATE THE PODS FOR ADDITIONAL USES by placing them in a bowl and cover with a 1/2" of boiling water and soak for 15 minutes.

• Always wear gloves when handling Carolina Reaper-hot peppers!
• If you are processing peppers, use caution, make sure there is adequate ventilation.
• If you get anything on your skin, rub some vegetable oil on the affected area, and then rinse with soap and water. Repeat as needed.
